Your baby weighs about 7 grams, is about 2 inches long and in an ultrasound will look a bit out of proportion. Your baby has toes, eyes, ears, fingernails and lips, but it may appear that your baby's head is about 1/2 the size of their body. This will change as the baby grows. I always said I liked kids with big heads but maybe not quite that big.....

You did always tell us at work you loved babies with big heads. Your blog is so awesome. I cried when I read about your grandma. My grandpa died 3 mos after Maddie was born, so I know it's hard to be so excited about something, when inside, you are so sad. But you wait and see- when he/she is born, you will feel the presence of your grandma with the baby. You will make a wonderful mommy, you will make wonderful parents.
