My oh my, how you have grown. I remember when I had to tell people that I was pregnant. Not so any more. I feel like I ate a 5-year old. You are huge, okay, truthfully, you are around 4 1/2 pounds, and that hardly constitutes huge, but you're the biggest person that's ever resided in me.
What a weekend. Your Grandma and Grandbob came to help celebrate your baby shower. (Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.) And as we ran around frantically buying decorations and making food, I started to feel silly, like this was a whole lot of fuss just for you and me. Then I realized, Mom feels for me the way I feel for you- which is to say, they'd have to rip you from my cold, dead hands and it didn't seem so silly. So thanks baby, for helping me see a tiny bit about loving in a way that I could never have understood before.
