Nate told me not to put this picture on the blog because the color is funny, but I like it and think that you will too. When I was in (crazy, long, intense) labor with my (extra big) baby girl, we called my mom who quickly got on a plane and made it just in time to see them wheel me in for the c-section. The last two weeks have felt like a trial run because Grandma has been here for every diaper change, every feeding and all of the laundry that Claire (and the rest of us) create. Thank you, Mom. Thanks to Grandbob for sharing your wife. There are few people in this world who consider cleaning my bathtub and diapering my newborn a vacation. I am blessed indeed.

Oh, Kari, it was truly the best vacation ever....and I wouldn't have missed one minute of it for the world. It was especially wonderful to get to know your Nate a little better. He is truly a man of character as well as quite the character.

That was quit a story, and what a beautiful baby girl you have. I tried to email you a couple of weeks ago but it was returned. I guess i had left an s out of your email. But this tells me what I wanted to know anyway. I'm glad you have a big, beautiful , healthy, baby girl.
