That's not my Jetta.
This weekend we borrowed a mini-van from a generous friend with a used car lot.
Here are the highlights:
* Adjustable cup holders that hold more than a kid's size drink. I was a drive-thru iced latte machine this weekend.
* Glorious, glorious trunk space.
* Folding seats that make excellent changing tables.
And the lowlights:
* The funky smell every time we turned on the AC.
* Having to drive all weekend because someone doesn't think he's van material.

Josh and I had a vacation this past week on the coast! (I must post pictures!!) About the dance class, here's a link
https://ccc-ias.chemeketa.edu/pls/ssb/bwckschd.p_disp_detail_sched?term_in=200720&crn_in=37058
One think I realized today. It is not modern dance as in the genre called modern dance. No. It is A modern TYPE of dance as in it hasn't been around for 30 years. It's HIP HOP!! I'll do hip hop. Sure. But that's NOT what I was expecting or wanting to take. I was expecting something along the lines of liturgical or lyrical. Are you still game? I am if either you or Angie still is!!
P.S. Tell hubby that driving a mini van won't turn him into a "soccer mom"!! ;)
I went back to the CCC website to check it out more. When I looked the class up in the catalog, it said
"Studies a variety of styles within the modern dance realm. Introduces the concepts of space, time, and force and explore how each of these elements plays a part in movement and dance technique. Focuses on correct alignment, efficient and proper use of the body, and includes axial and locomotor movement. Incorporates increased flexibility, coordination, balance, and muscular strength in warm-up and cool-down periods."
Which looks like "modern" to me and NOT "hip hop". I wonder if someone who didn't know what they were doing wrote in "hip hop". For some reason, whenever someone asked me what dance class I was taking, they almost always thought that "modern" was "hip hop". Can't get too much further. Unless you're doing country line dancing, of course! ;)
The class if Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:50 Septemeber 24th -December 7th. I would like to see if were can take the class without getting unit credit. I (and I'm sure you, too) don't need it. It's just an added cost for us!
At least it doesn't set its own car alarm off with you in it! Just some food for thought...
You & Nate in a mini-van...I'm trying to picture it. Claire on the other hand, looks like she was born to hang out the window of a mini-van.
Sorry, I forgot to sign my comment...

Thanks for always making me laugh!!
LOL about Nate wanting to drive the van. We just got a Tahoe (did I show you pictures yet?) but we did think about getting a van. You can get alot more for your money with a van rather than an SUV.
