Strange things happen to you when you become a mother. Suddenly, you can handle being vomited on. You can handle so much more than you thought. Time stops. You lose whole weeks to things like sleep schedules and pooping in the potty. And then, when you're not looking, it gets easier. I remember New Year's Eve last year, all three of us were sick with the flu and Nate and I kind of looked like, "what are we supposed to do now?" This time, we knew. We stripped beds. We put the girl in the bath. We made toast. And we waited.

Speaking of minis, have you seen this? Hilarious.

When traveling with sick minis carry trash can in back seat. I told mine that if their tummies hurt hold their trash can in their lap. Towels for misses. Hope Claire is feeling better. Very funny video! :)

Yeah, after awhile you just know what to do. You are definitely an official pro mommy now!
Too funny that I didn't see this post until after I told you that I don't do throw up :)
Aw...I'm glad Claire is feeling better!
Poor Claire. And poor Claire's mommy. Can you believe that I've never had to do throw-up? I'm not bragging though because I know my time will come soon enough.
And that video was horrifying. Made me want to cry and grab my windex.
super duper cute shirt claire has on! like it, want it! girls are the best even when vommiting! sorry she was sick. thats so lame! glad she is over it though!
You are not alone. I've done throw up. Infant, adult, school-age. At home, in the car (dare I say it), at a toilet in Denny's. (O.K., that was me, but still.)
And the video, yeah, my car, except no longer with the smell of milk. Yep!, well anyway.
Oh yeah, throw up in the aisles of Toys R Us. I'm a pro, I tell you.
They don't have to hire those 4 guys! I have 4 kids who will do an awesome job at Momming your car, or whatever!
Seriously SOOO my car! yuck.
Glad your all better now!!!!!
Oh! I'm so sorry about you guys having to deal with the flu! Poor baby, poor Mama!
Back to report that I have now done throw-up, since after Jason recovered, Sydney got the flu too.
Oh, yes. She got the flu all over me. Three times. I'm guess I'm officially a real mom now.
