I've been telling her that we're going to have a baby at our house, and she likes to talk to the baby. Unfortunately for me, this involves hiking up my shirt so, I don't know, her voice isn't muffled? She always tells the baby the same things: Hi baby. I love you. I'm ya big sister. See ya later, baby. I thought she was really starting to understand the concept and then a few weeks ago, she pulled Nate's shirt up and said, "Hi baby. I'm your big sister."
I guess we have some explaining to do.

That is so cute! I amazes me that she can say all those words. Kaia just is being lazy...she does not want to talk. Soon enough I wont be able to get her to quit talking, huh?
Stinkin' cute! When I was pregnant with Makayla, a friend's daughter (just shy of 2 like Claire) kept trying to find that baby we were talking about. Lifting my shirt...trying to look up my skirt.

Luke was 18 months old when Isabela was born. He kisses her and loved her so much. On the fourth day, he looked at her and proclaimed, "That's enough. We need to take her back now."
We had a lot of explaining to do too!
I wish I could've been there! That is a priceless story!
