sweet fancy moses.
Tonight instead of requesting to be rocked for her two night time songs, she shouted out song requests and danced around the room. She spun circles in her pink pajamas. I still sang and rocked with no child in my lap. She jumped. She channeled Elaine.

Do you ever look at your kids and think for a second "Maybe I am getting a glimpse of what he/she will look like when they're older?"
That's what this picture looks like to me...it's not hard to imagine an 8-yr old Claire from this picture...
